Full BIO:
Richard Rossi is an expert on high-achieving high school students – their fears, challenges, and how to prepare them for the future so they can achieve their dreams and help humanity. He has been working with and supporting high-achieving students since 1985. He founded his current organization, The National Leadership Academies, in January of 2013, and serves as founder and executive director. Through its Congress of Future Medical Leaders and Congress of Future Science & Technology Leaders annual gatherings that expose students to top leaders in their fields, high-achieving young people from across America gain the skills, motivation, guidance and mentorship they need to achieve their goals.

Mr. Rossi is a co-founder of two of the world’s largest and most prestigious enrichment programs for high-achieving students. Under his guidance, more than 640,000 primary, middle school, secondary school and college students from more than 118 countries have attended academic programs focusing on leadership and career development. These programs were designed to honor, inspire and motivate the nation’s most promising future leaders.

In 2009, Mr. Rossi co-created one of the largest gatherings of high achieving youth in Washington history: 15,300 high-achieving young men and women who came together to experience the historic nature of President Obama’s first inauguration. Participants included Archbishop Desmond Tutu, General Colin Powell and former Vice President Al Gore.

Mr. Rossi now devotes himself to The National Academy of Scientists and Technologists, The National Academy of Future Physicians and Medical Scientists, and other academic programs on a full-time basis. He is the author of the book “Just One Chance: How to Guarantee Your Child’s Success in School and Life Before it’s Too Late.” He also serves on the Board of Directors of Pinnacle Care, a prominent private health advisory company in Baltimore, Maryland.
